North Mill Bed and Breakfast is a former mill with an enchanting garden beside the river Piddle and just beneath the Saxon walls of the charming old town of Wareham - the natural gateway to the Isle of Purbeck. It has one double room and one twin room overlooking the garden and river, each with ensuite or private bath/shower. There is ample parking.
From here you can explore Corfe Castle, Swanage, Studland, Worth Matravers, Lulworth Cove, Monkey World and 'Thomas Hardy Country'. You can walk from North Mill across the water meadows into the depths of Dorset, following a network of footpaths. The Jurassic Coast, with its sandy beaches, caves, chalk cliffs and sweeping, grassy ridges is only 10 miles away. It is England’s first and only Natural World Heritage Site, awarded by UNESCO for its outstanding beauty and geological interest. Other activities in the area include golf, sailing, windsurfing, cycling and touring historic buildings and gardens.
